Renowned Benga musician Kamande Wa Kioi is on the road to recovery after a car accident on September 12, 2019, near Millennium in Nairobi.
According to sources, Kamande was traveling from Kasarani to Kahawa West when his car collided with a bus.
Fortunately, Kamande was discharged from the hospital on the same day and is now recuperating at home.
He expressed gratitude to his fans for their prayers, saying, “I’m fine and thank you for your prayers.”
Samuel Muchoki, a.k.a Samidoh, a new-age Kikuyu musician, witnessed the accident and provided assistance to Kamande.
Samidoh stated, “When I found him, he was standing at the door. I notified Kiamumbi OCS of the accident and called Kioi’s nephew Magwa, who doubles up as his backup dancer, for help.”
Samidoh further confirmed that Kamande is stable and had suffered minor injuries, including a bruise and chest pains.
