From Corporate to Kingdom Business ¶
Angela Murenga, a life coach and founder of Kingdom Business Solutions, has worn many hats in her life. She's a child of God, a pastor, a CEO, a mother, a speaker, and a mentor. But it's her journey of discovering her purpose and passion that's truly inspiring.
After 17 years in the hospitality industry and four years as a manager at Dormans Coffee, Angela felt a call from God to quit her job and follow her heart. She served at Mavuno Church for a year, attended Bible school, and eventually started training others as a certified leadership coach.
Today, Angela trains over 1,000 marketplace leaders across Africa on how to identify and develop potential in others. She's also a popular speaker and has a YouTube channel called 'Just Angie' where she shares her insights on career, business, governance, and life.
Angela's story is a testament to the power of following one's passion and purpose. She's living proof that it's never too late to make a change and pursue a new path in life.
As we sat down with Angela at the Nairobi Serena, she shared her thoughts on leadership, wealth, and church leadership. She believes that anyone can be a leader, but it requires integrity, authenticity, character, and passion. She also emphasized the importance of giving and receiving, and how wealth should come as a result of anointing and empowerment.
Angela's journey is a reminder that we all have the power to create the life we want. With hard work, determination, and a willingness to learn and grow, we can achieve our dreams and make a positive impact on the world.
As we concluded our conversation with Angela, she shared her thoughts on what she hopes will be written on her tombstone: 'She Died Empty.' It's a powerful reminder that our legacy is not about what we achieve, but about the impact we have on others.
