Relationships can be a rollercoaster of emotions, and for one woman, it's been a particularly bumpy ride. Despite her best efforts to be nice and understanding, she's found herself dumped by her partners after just 4-6 months.

According to Simon, a relationships counsellor, this phenomenon is more common than you think. 'It can affect your self-esteem and self-worth,' he warns. 'But there are reasons why this might be happening to you.'

Simon points out that while being nice and understanding are great traits, overdoing it can make you appear 'needy.' This can be a major turn-off for men, who often find relationships with women who are too good to be true boring and lacking in challenge.

Another possible reason for her string of failed relationships is that she may be looking for love in the wrong places. 'You may be attracting men who are only interested in sex, not love,' Simon cautions. 'It's time to shift your focus from pleasing others to pleasing yourself.'

But Hilda, a Counselling Psychology expert, has a different take on the situation. 'Why are you judging yourself so harshly?' she asks. 'It takes two people to make a relationship work.'

Hilda suggests that the woman may be putting too much pressure on herself to be perfect, and that this is causing her to appear insincere to her partners. 'Be true to yourself,' she advises. 'Any relationship that doesn't allow you to be yourself is not viable.'

Ultimately, the key to finding a healthy and fulfilling relationship may lie in self-reflection and self-acceptance. By focusing on her own happiness and worth, the woman may be able to attract a partner who truly values and appreciates her for who she is.
