Former Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has heaped praise on Cristiano Ronaldo for his outstanding performance against Lithuania in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
On September 10, 2019, Ronaldo scored four goals for Portugal in their 5-1 win over Lithuania, taking his international goal tally to 93.
Mourinho, who coached Ronaldo at Real Madrid, believes the Juventus superstar will still be scoring even when he turns 50.
''What Cristiano does does not surprise me. At 34, he is a top player, who plays in a top team and has top ambitions,'' Mourinho said in an interview with Portuguese TV channel 11.
''When he is 50 years old he will be at home and FIFA will invite him to a game of legends. He will play the game and score a goal. I am sure it will be like that,''
Ronaldo has now broken Robbie Keane's record for most goals in European Championship qualifiers.
