On September 12, 2019, a tragic incident shook the quiet streets of Miti Moja Estate in Eldoret town. A female police officer, attached to Naiberi Police Station in Ainabkoi Sub County, was found murdered at her rented home.
According to Uasin Gishu police commander Johnston Ipara, the officer had suffered several stab wounds on her head and body.
