On his 27th birthday, Kenyan footballer Ayub Timbe gave himself a gift he won't soon forget – a lime green Lamborghini Huracan, estimated to cost Sh22 million.
Timbe, who currently plays for Beijing Renhe in China, posted a photo of himself posing on the bonnet of the expensive ride on Instagram.
According to Nairobi News, the photo was captioned, 'If you cannot stop thinking of it, don’t work for it.'
It's unclear if the Lamborghini was purchased from Timbe's estimated Sh7 million monthly salary in the Far East.
As one of the top-earning players in the Harambee Stars set-up, Timbe's wealth is no surprise. He is currently considered the third top earner, after Victor Wanyama and Michael Olunga.
Earlier this year, Timbe made headlines for splashing Sh1 million to facilitate two of his fans to fly to Cairo and watch him in action during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
