Published on September 11, 2019, a study by KPMG ranked Kenya third in Africa and 59 globally in terms of readiness for change.

The study, which assessed the country's ability to manage risks such as natural disasters, financial or social stability, and changes in demographics, technology, and government, placed Kenya among the top 10 countries in Africa.

According to the report, the overall ranking index combines an index of enterprise, government, and people and civil society, providing a comprehensive assessment of a country's change readiness.

"A wide range of organisations can apply the data and insights from the CRI to inform investment decisions, improve government policy, and build leading practices," the report says.

Kenya's ranking is a testament to its ability to manage risks and adapt to change, with the country's enterprise, government, and people and civil society capabilities being recognized as strengths.

The study highlights the importance of change readiness in informing investment decisions and improving government policy, and Kenya's ranking serves as a model for other countries to follow.
