On his recent media tour promoting the show Power, 50 Cent visited the Hot 97 studios in New York City, where he shared his thoughts on the state of hip hop.
During the conversation, 50 Cent expressed his sentiments on the issue, stating, 'Aaa! Look, look at dis! How can you be about prison reform and rap with a correctional officer? Its all tangled up. Everything is in a confusing space.'
Host Rosenberg clarified that 50 Cent was specifically referring to Meek Mill and Rick Ross, who have been involved in prison reform efforts.
50 Cent further elaborated on his comments, saying, 'Like, if you go… Regardless of it you can partner with it and just do what you gotta do because you just getting on. But the reality of it is, it is what it is.'
