Published on September 11, 2019, Victor Kinuthia, the Inooro TV reporter who faced intense online criticism for his struggles with English during a live broadcast, has found a new opportunity.

Kinuthia will now be reporting on Citizen TV's 'Sema a Citizen' program, which airs every morning from 10am.

After trending on social media, Kinuthia received an unexpected call from the BBC World Service radio in London, inviting him for an interview to discuss his experience.

Kinuthia has spoken publicly about the emotional turmoil he faced after the online backlash, but has also received support from his colleagues and bosses.
