On September 10, 2019, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka announced that musician Jackson Ngechu Kimotho Makini, commonly known as Prezzo, would run for the Kibra parliamentary seat in 2022.
Prezzo, a well-known musician, has joined the Wiper Democratic Movement and will contest for the seat in the upcoming election.
