The presentation, delivered alongside the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the African School Games, received positive feedback from the 54 African NOC representatives. ‘The African School Games is on course,’ Gumel stated, expressing confidence in Nigeria’s ability to deliver a memorable event that would ‘make Africa proud.’ The NOC president emphasized the significance of the African School Games, which will bring together young athletes from across the continent to compete in various sporting disciplines.
