Published on September 10, 2019, actress Njambi, popularly known as Njambi from The Real Househelps of Kawangware, has shared her emotional life journey as a single mother.

After giving birth, Njambi revealed she was depressed, frustrated, heartbroken, and couldn't imagine raising her daughter on her own.

She shared a photo of herself taken a year ago, saying she was 'so depressed, frustrated, broken, terrified, thin and giving up.'

'It's not easy raising a child without a dad,' Njambi wrote. 'I was so worried that I wouldn’t make it, I was so bitter with life and I thought I would never be happy again.'

However, Njambi has since found happiness and self-love. She confessed that she's still hurt but is not falling in love anytime soon.

'I still have trust issues, self-esteem issues, am afraid of falling in love, am afraid of being hurt but those are just stepping stones……. so today am crushing on myself,' Njambi said.

She added that she's an amazing mother and a phenomenal woman, and is proud of herself and her daughter Tamara.

Other celebrity single mothers include Kanze Dena, Jacque Maribe, Nicah the Queen, and Pierra Makena.
