On September 10, 2019, Anzetse Were started her new role as Economist at Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Kenya.
With a Master's in Economics from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor's degree from Brown University, Anzetse has over a decade of experience working in Africa on various development economics topics.
Her expertise spans Development Economics, Manufacturing and Industrialisation, Regional Integration, Impact Investment, Enterprise Development, and Sino-African Relations.
As an economist and consultant, Anzetse offers services in Economic Research and Analysis, Strategy Development, and Advisory Consulting.
Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Kenya, established in 2005 as an independent trust supervised by KPMG, aims to bring financial services to more people and small businesses across Kenya through direct investment, research, and policy analysis.
