Kenyan gospel artist Xtian Dela, known for his hit song 'Mpe Muda', has publicly come out as gay, sparking controversy and debate in the country.
Speaking in an interview with Xtian Dela on YouTube, the artist stated that he has been open about his sexual orientation and has been proud to be part of the LGBTQ+ community.
'I'm proud to be part of the LGBTQ+ community and I'm not afraid to say it,' Xtian Dela said.
The artist also stated that he has been open about his sexual orientation with his fans and has been proud to be part of the community.

The artist's decision to come out as gay has sparked controversy and debate in the country, with some people praising him for his courage and others condemning him for going against the teachings of the Bible.
According to the Bible, homosexuality is considered a sin and is punishable by death in some countries.
Kenya's constitution also prohibits same-sex relationships and anyone found guilty of engaging in such relationships can face up to 14 years in prison.
However, Xtian Dela remains unapologetic about his decision and has stated that he will continue to be part of the LGBTQ+ community.
