On September 8, 2019, media personality Tony Gachoka turned 50, and he celebrated in style with a host of prominent guests in attendance.
Gachoka, a well-known host of the weekly political talk show Point Blank on KTN News, shared photos of his colourful birthday bash on social media, showcasing the who's who of Nairobi's elite.
Among the notable guests who graced the event were ODM party leader Raila Odinga, Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa, former Jubilee Party Vice-Chairperson David Murathe, Kiambu deputy governor James Nyoro, Bundalangi MP Raphael Wanjala, Njehu Gatabaki, and Richard Ngatia.
Radio Africa Group chairman Kiprony Kittony and flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir were also present, with Odinga even helping Gachoka cut the birthday cake.
As Gachoka marked this milestone, he quoted Sir William Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice, saying, 'with mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come.' He thanked Raila Odinga for being there with him for this milestone.
Before his career in media, Gachoka served as the head of protocol in then Prime Minister Raila Odinga's office, a position he held until 2009.
