Published on September 9, 2019, a shocking incident of wife-swapping has been reported in Busia county. Kevin Barasa and Lilian Weta, a couple who had been married for over 10 years, have parted ways, with Weta moving in with Christopher Bwire, her husband's friend.

According to reports, the separation was not a mutual decision. Weta claimed that Barasa had told her to leave him and find a new husband, and she had agreed. Bwire, who has two children with his estranged wife, Millicent Auma, has confirmed that he and Weta are now living together as man and wife.

Barasa, however, seems unconcerned about Weta's decision. "If she has accepted to stay with Bwire, so be it," he said in an interview. Bwire, on the other hand, is optimistic about his new relationship, stating, "It is either me or him who will regret afterwards but for now I am happy with my new catch."

The incident has left many in the community stunned, with some speculating that one of the men may regret their decision in the long run.
