Published on September 9, 2019, Nation FC embarked on a three-match tour of Western and Rift Valley regions, with a mix of results.

The tour kicked off on a sour note with a 2-1 loss to Kakamega County Government at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on Friday morning.

Despite the early lead by Peter Bol, the hosts equalized in the 16th minute through Joseph Etemesi, who scored the winner 10 minutes to half time.

However, Nation FC bounced back with a 3-2 win over Uasin Gishu County Assembly at Eldoret Sports Club in Eldoret, hours later.

Isaac 'Mbappe' Ochieng scored a brace for Nation, while Bol added the winner in the 80th minute from a penalty kick.

Unfortunately, the team's winning streak was short-lived as they suffered a 1-0 loss to Patuso FC, featuring league players, at Iten Sports ground in Elgeyo-Marakwet County on Saturday.

Laban Kiplimo scored the all-important goal for Patuso FC nine minutes to time.
