Naivasha, Kenya - A devastating accident occurred on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway near Delamere farm in Naivasha, claiming the lives of three people.

The accident involved a Nissan matatu belonging to NNUS Sacco, which collided with a lorry, injuring 10 people.

On Twitter, Road Safety and Safe Driving Practices expressed their condolences, stating,

Another sad moment 3 loved ones are not coming home. I am not sure they said goodbye to their loved ones. This is clearly another front impact accident. For such impact the involved must have been on high speed. I am not sure what transpired.

Unfortunately, road accidents have become a common occurrence in Kenya, claiming the lives of even prominent citizens, including Mugithi Maestro John De Mathew.

Chief Justice David Maraga and his wife narrowly escaped a similar accident after their car was involved in a head-on collision in Nakuru.

Kenyan athlete David Rudisha also survived a road accident in Nyansiongo area on the Kijauri-Keroka Highway in Nyamira County in August 2019.
