On Sunday evening, a two-year-old baby tragically lost his life after being shot by a police officer in the Soweto area of Kahawa West.
According to sources who spoke to Citizen Digital, police officers were dispatched to the area to arrest chang'aa sellers, but a confrontation ensued, resulting in one of the officers discharging his firearm and hitting the toddler who was playing nearby.
The baby was rushed to Kiambu Level Five Hospital but unfortunately passed away.
