On September 8, 2019, Nairobi detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) finally apprehended Mombasa's most wanted criminal, Ali Abdalla Abdillatif, alias Bliza Bliza, after a long period of evading capture.
Abdalla, a 23-year-old member of the notorious Old Town Youth Gang, was arrested at 11th Street in Eastleigh's estate, following a tip-off to the sleuths.
He was taken into custody alongside 25-year-old Daniel Muigai Nganga, who was also arrested during the operation.
