On September 8, 2019, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) made a significant breakthrough in their efforts to combat crime in Mombasa County.
Acting on a tip-off, the detectives arrested 23-year-old Ali Abdalla Abdillatif, alias Bliza Bliza, who is a member of the notorious Old Town Youth Gang.
Abdillatif was apprehended at 11th Street in Eastleigh, along with his accomplice, 25-year-old Daniel Muigai Nganga.
The two suspects are currently in custody, awaiting further police action.
According to the DCI, Abdillatif was one of Mombasa County's most wanted criminals.
