On September 7, 2019, Kenya Ports Authority women's basketball team delivered a convincing 76-45 win over Storms in the National Classic basketball league at KPA Hall Makande.

Becky Nkatha led the charge with 15 points, providing sweet revenge for KPA after their narrow loss to Storms in their opening league match in Nairobi.

Storms' Celia Makungu scored 19 points, but KPA's strong team chemistry and performance ultimately secured their victory.

"I am happy team chemistry is slowly building as we continue to play more games which makes me believe that we will have a good season at the end of it all," said KPA coach Mike Opel.

Storms' coach Abel Nson attributed their loss to failing to contain pressure from KPA women, and vowed to work on his players' mental preparedness for the remaining fixtures.
