Published on September 8, 2019, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Spider-Man star Tom Holland have expressed their admiration for each other's work, sparking hopes of a potential future collaboration.
Tom Holland's respect for Johnson's career was evident in an interview with GQ, where he praised Johnson's work ethic, saying, "The Rock is someone I've always looked up to. His whole thing is: be the hardest-working person in the room. It's something that I've really taken to heart."
Johnson responded to the quote on Twitter, calling Holland "a good buddy" who "continues to earn his success daily." He added that he looks forward to working with him at some point.
With both actors part of the vast Disney entertainment machine, their paths might cross sooner rather than later. Johnson is starring in next year's Jungle Cruise, while Holland is part of the MCU and will appear alongside Chris Pratt in the new Pixar movie Onward.
While a collaboration between Johnson and Holland is still speculative, fans can imagine them teaming up on a family-friendly adventure movie or even a cameo appearance in the next Hobbs & Shaw movie.
