Rebecca Soki, a talented Congolese gospel singer, has been making headlines with her new song 'Baraka Zangu' under Bahati's Record label EMB.

However, what many people do not know is that Soki's journey to stardom has been marred by a harrowing experience that almost cost her life.

According to Soki, she almost died after drinking milk she found in her house after returning from Dubai a few years ago.

She revealed that she had been vomiting blood for over a year and a half, and despite seeking medical help, she lost hope of ever being able to sing again.

She added that she continued to vomit blood for a very long time and couldn't praise her Lord through singing again.

After a year and a half of suffering, Soki decided to go back home to Congo, where she eventually recovered.

She's now happy and says she is going to release more songs now that she's okay.
