Below are eight children of prominent Kenyans who died in tragic circumstances.

1. Nana Gichuru

The actress and TV presenter died in a road accident along the Easter bypass in a grisly incident.

2. Francis Thombe Nyammo's Daughter

Joseph Tharuma Munga, a software engineer and son of Equity Bank founder Peter Kahara Munga, fell from the second floor of the Black Diamond club in Nairobi.

3. Peter Kahara Munga's Son

Joseph died at a Nairobi hospital after succumbing to injuries from the fall.

4. Njeru Githae's Son

Brian Karanga Njeru, the last born son of former Finance minister Robinson Njeru Githae, committed suicide in their Runda home in a bizarre incident.

5. Muchemi Wanjuki's Son

The son of former Solicitor-General Wanjuki Muchemi was found dead at their home in Nairobi in December 2012.

6. Stephen Ondiek's Children

Three children of former assistant minister Archbishop Stephen Ondiek died in a road accident in November 2002 while returning to Nairobi after helping their father win a nomination for the Ugenya parliamentary seat.

7. Dalmas Otieno's Son

The veteran politician's son died in May 2008 after a helicopter crashed on a residential street in Cranbrook, Canada.

8. Njenga Karume's Son

The late Kenyan billionaire Njenga Karume's son died in a road accident on Nakuru-Molo road in September 2010.
