Published on September 8, 2019, Imran Okoth, brother of the late Ken Okoth, has been declared the winner of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) primaries for the Kibra Constituency by-election.
He secured 4,382 votes, beating nine other aspirants, including Peter Orero with 1,218 votes, John Milla Otieno with 906 votes, and Ben Musungu with 524 votes.
Imran Okoth will now face off with McDonald Mariga from Jubilee, Eliud Owalo from ANC, Khamisi Butichi from Ford Kenya, and Editar Ochieng from Ukweli Party in the by-election scheduled for November 7.
