Monica Binti Ngere, a Nairobi-based lawyer and cancer warrior, has left behind a legacy of hope and resilience after passing away on September 7, 2019, at Avenue Healthcare Parklands in Nairobi.

Monica's husband, Charley, described the loss as the hardest moment of his life, saying, "I have lost the love of my life, this is the worst and darkest day of my life."

Monica's family had been rallying behind her in her fight against cancer, with her husband and children shaving their hair in solidarity with her just two weeks ago.

Monica's openness and constant updates on her treatment stages earned her a special place in the hearts of many Kenyans, particularly those who followed her on social media.

Despite facing numerous challenges, including a KSh 4 million hospital bill for her newborn's treatment, Monica remained steadfast and optimistic until her demise.

Monica was a great football fan and supported local talents, and her passing has left a void in the lives of many who knew her.
