Kevin Mulei, the flamboyant owner of NRG radio and Mo Sound, may have dug himself into a financial hole from which he cannot escape, according to insiders.

As seen in his flashy lifestyle and expensive vehicles, Mulei has long been known for his wealth, but behind the scenes, his employees have been complaining about non-payments.

NRG radio, in particular, has a history of underpaying, delaying, and failing to pay those they owe, including brand ambassadors, models, influencers, and ticket sellers who worked with them for the #NRGWave event.

Anonymous staff members have been sending emails to popular blogs, claiming they have not been paid for several months, a situation that is not new, as some employees, including Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe, went unpaid for at least two months when the station first started.

Several senior management members at NRG and Mo Sound have opted to leave and seek greener pastures, including Kester Shimonyo, Kamene Goro, Andrew Kibe, Duncan Msicha, and Kavutha Mwanzia.

Mo Sound is also facing financial difficulties, having been sued by Energy Services LTD for failing to pay for leasing services. The court ordered Mulei's company to pay up or face bankruptcy.

With suppliers calling for unpaid bills and employees facing non-payments, Kevin Mulei may have indeed plundered all his money, leaving him in a precarious financial situation.
