On September 7, 2019, Kenya's SafariLink airline made a significant move by joining the African Airlines Association (AFRAA), a trade association of airlines from the African Union.

AFRAA welcomed SafariLink alongside Air Djibouti, Air Senegal, and Uganda National Airlines, marking a new chapter in the airline's expansion plans.

Just a few months prior, in May 2019, SafariLink received safety certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), a trade association of the world's carriers.

The certification, reserved for operators of smaller aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 5.7 tonnes, is a significant milestone for the airline.

With a fleet consisting of Cessna Caravan and DeHavilland Dash 8 models, SafariLink primarily serves tourist routes, including Diani and Masai Mara.
