Kenyan singer Ali Kiba has finally broken his silence on reports that he has broken up with his wife Amina Khalef, whom he married in April 2018 in a lavish ceremony in Mombasa and Dar es Salaam.
Published on September 7, 2019, the rumors started circulating a few weeks after the couple welcomed their first child in September last year.
According to reports, Amina was allegedly fed up with Ali Kiba's disrespectful behavior towards her, which led her to seek counseling.
However, Amina quickly dismissed the rumors last month, stating that their union was fine and their love had never wavered.
During a recent radio interview to promote his new song 'Bembea' featuring Dogo Aslay, Ali Kiba addressed the rumors, stating that his marriage is intact.
“Familia ipo kama kawaida, mtoto anaendelea vizuri namshukuru Mungu wanaoyasambaza maneno hayo ni vyema kama wangekaa bize na maisha yao,” Ali Kiba said.
Ali Kiba and Amina's wedding was reportedly a lavish affair, with the couple spending Sh50 million on the ceremony, which was financed by Mombasa Governor.
