High Court Judge Daniel Ogembo has ruled that Sarah Wairimu, the wife of missing Dutch billionaire Tob Cohen, will be detained for six more days at the Muthaiga Police Station.
The judge made the decision on Friday, citing the need for investigative officers to complete their probe into Cohen's disappearance.
Cohen, a 32-year resident of Kenya and tours and travel magnate, was reported to have gone missing between July 19 and July 20, 2019.
He and Wairimu were reportedly embroiled in a bitter divorce case, with Cohen filing assault charges against her a week before he went missing.
According to court papers, Cohen alleged that Wairimu pushed him down the stairs, causing him to seriously injure his forehead.
However, Wairimu denied the claims, stating that Cohen had depression and a mental condition that was causing problems in their relationship.
