On July 3, 2019, Susan Mwaniki, a student at Mount Kenya University, found herself in a situation she had never encountered before. Willy Paul, her musician boyfriend, called her, demanding to know if she had been talking to his friend Kelvin.

According to Susan, Willy Paul became aggressive and threatening, claiming he would kill her if she didn't stop talking to Kelvin. He even went so far as to ask her for Kelvin's phone number and sent him threatening messages via WhatsApp and SMS.

Susan, who was shaken by the experience, reported the incident to the Thika police station. She recounted the events of that day, saying that Willy Paul's behavior became increasingly erratic and threatening as the night wore on.

"He gave me a piece of cake and I was left with nothing to do. I was scared because I had seen him posting pictures on Instagram with a gun, and I was worried," Susan said.

Willy Paul's behavior continued to escalate, with him claiming that he would kill Susan if she didn't stop talking to Kelvin. He even went so far as to say that he had killed someone before and that Susan would be next if she didn't comply with his demands.

Despite the terrifying experience, Susan has chosen to speak out about what happened, hoping that her story will serve as a warning to others who may be in similar situations.
