Published on September 6, 2019, Kenyan boxer Victor Wesonga is preparing for a thrilling East and Central Africa showdown against Tanzania's highly rated Lammeck Ngakau.

Wesonga, a 25-year-old featherweight boxer, has been training intensively ahead of the bout, which is set to take place next month. The venue is yet to be decided, with Ngakau requesting a neutral ground.

With a record of seven unbeaten fights, including six Technical Knockouts (TKOs) and one draw, Wesonga is confident in his abilities. Wesonga's previous fights have seen him emerge victorious, including a TKO win against Abdul Noor in 2017 and a TKO win against Joshua Omukulo last year. The fight against Ngakau is set to take place on October 5, 2019.
