Published on September 6, 2019, a woman's life has taken a dramatic turn after she filed an upkeep suit against former State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi.

According to sources close to her, she resigned from her job before delivering the child, but Itumbi has refused to offer her any support, leaving her to struggle as a single parent.

Her situation worsened when ex-TV journalist Jacque Maribe was fired from Citizen Television after visiting Itumbi at a police station when he was arrested over a fake letter implicating Deputy President William Ruto in a murder plot.

It is alleged that Itumbi has since shifted his focus to Maribe, who is reportedly facing financial difficulties, at the expense of the woman and their newborn baby.

The woman, through her lawyer Enricah Dulo, is now seeking court orders to compel Itumbi to provide a monthly allowance of Sh50,000 to cater for the child's basic needs, including food, clothing, medicine, and a house help's salary.
