Former State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi is facing a child support case in court.
A woman has filed an upkeep suit against Itumbi, seeking Sh50,000 monthly allowance for their child's food, clothing, medicine, and house help salary.
According to court documents, the woman claims Itumbi deserted the child and has not been providing any form of maintenance, despite knowing she is an orphan.
The woman, who was in a relationship with Itumbi between January and August last year, says she had to stop working before delivering the child.
She also alleges that Itumbi blocked her number and is unable to engage with him on any meaningful conversation regarding the child's welfare.
Lawyer Enricah Dulo, representing the woman, said: 'We are seeking the court's indulgence to have my client awarded Sh50,000 monthly allowance for the minor to cater for food, clothing, medicine and house help salary.'
The woman is also seeking a copy of Itumbi's national ID so his name can be included in the child's birth certificate.
