State House digital media director Dennis Itumbi is facing a child maintenance case in court, with allegations that he tried to have his baby mama abort the pregnancy.
The woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, claims that when she informed Itumbi that she was pregnant, he implored her to have an abortion. She also alleges that at one point, he gave her a drink that caused her to start bleeding.
According to court papers, the woman visited a hospital after experiencing bleeding, and the doctor asked her if she was carrying out an abortion.
Itumbi's case has been making headlines in recent months, particularly after he was linked to TV journalist Jacque Maribe. He was even accused of being the father of her unborn child, with some pundits claiming that they had a romantic relationship.
However, it now emerges that the woman in question is not Jacque Maribe, but rather Itumbi's baby mama. The case will be heard on September 26.
