Maureen Kunga, a member of the popular Kenyan music group Elani, has officially started her new life as a married woman. The private wedding ceremony took place on Thursday at a luxury resort in Naivasha.
According to reports, only close friends and family were in attendance, with the event being kept under wraps. Maureen Kunga only shared the news with her fans on Instagram, posting a photo of herself wearing a beautiful sleeveless, flowery laced gown with a veil.
“BEST.DAY.OF.MY.LIFE,” she captioned the photo.
Photos from the event reveal that fellow Elani group member Wamboi was one of the bridesmaids. However, the identity of the groom remains a mystery, as Maureen Kunga has yet to disclose it.
Several celebrities took to social media to congratulate Maureen Kunga on her special day, including gospel singer Bruz Newton, professional makeup artiste Njanjakobz, Nigerian singer Chidinma, Nairobi businesswoman Michelle Ntalami, Trizamwendwa, and Stephaniecherono.
