Published on September 6, 2019, a Nairobi woman has taken Dennis Itumbi to court, seeking child support for their baby girl born in June 2019.
The woman, who had a relationship with Itumbi between January and August 2018, claims that he ended the relationship when she informed him she was pregnant with his child.
She delivered a baby girl on June 14, 2019, and has since been seeking Sh50,000 monthly subsistence allowance for the minor's upkeep, including food, clothing, medicine, and house help salary.
The woman also wants Itumbi to provide a copy of his national identity card so that his name can be included in the minor's birth certificate.
She has generously offered Itumbi reasonable access to the child, but will retain actual and legal custody of the minor.
The case will be heard on September 26, 2019.
