Kenyan business leaders are set to converge at the inaugural SOAR Africa Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit, featuring American televangelist Thomas Dexter Jakes Sr, on September 5 and 6, 2019.
The summit, which has sold out all its VVIP tickets for Sh75,000, promises to be a platform for leaders from the private and public sectors, as well as entrepreneurs, to engage in conversations that inspire economic progress for the continent.
"The VVIP tickets have already been sold out but the VIP are still available," said Ms Edna Kiarie from a public relations firm contracted for the summit.
Speakers at the summit include TD Jakes, Strive Masiyiwa, and Nunu Ntshilinga, who will deliver keynote addresses and participate in interactive panel sessions.
TD Jakes, who has authored a book called SOAR, said he was delighted to be part of the summit, which coincides with the launch of his book.
"As a CEO of TD Jakes Enterprise, I understand the importance of business, how to do it and how to survive best so as to enhance our lifestyles beyond spirituality," he said.
Meanwhile, KCB Group CEO and MD Joshua Oigara noted that the summit is the beginning of a new movement that will change and bring on board new kind of leaders.
