Published on September 6, 2019, Citizen TV presenter Yvonne Okwara has come out guns blazing against Raila Odinga, accusing him of behaving like a demigod and pulling unnecessary political stunts.
Okwara's comments were in response to a recent incident where DJ and politician Kriss Darlin knelt before Raila Odinga during Citizen TV's weekly segment, News Gang.
According to Okwara, Kriss' kneeling was a desperate attempt to seek political sympathy in his newfound ambitions, and that it was a sign of weakness for a full-grown man to kneel before another man.
However, Okwara noted that Kriss had a track record of working with communities in Kibra, engaging in resource-building projects, and being part of the solution, which made him a strong contender for the nomination.
