Kenya Commercial Bank advanced to the 2019 African Club Championships final after defeating Kenya Pipeline 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-12) in the semifinals held in Kelibia, Tunisia. The victory set up a final clash against either Egypt's Al Ahly or Tunisia's Carthage.
The match featured KCB's dominant performance, with key players Mercy Moim, Sharon Chepchumba, and Emmaculate Nekesa driving the team's attack. Kenya Pipeline's efforts, led by Telespory Alouch and Pamela Adhiambo, struggled to close the gap after KCB built a 16-8 lead in the second set.
An injury to Kenya Pipeline's middle blocker Gladys Ekiru during a collision with KCB captain Edith Wisa disrupted their momentum. Despite a tight second set, KCB maintained control to take a 2-0 lead. The third set saw KCB extend their advantage to 23-9 before sealing the 25-12 victory.
In other semifinal matches, Kenya Prisons defeated Rwanda Patriotic Army 3-0, while FAP of Cameroon beat Kelibia of Tunisia 3-0. Kenya Prisons previously won the tournament in 2013, defeating GS Pétroliers of Algeria 3-2 in Madagascar.
