On September 4, 2019, country singer-songwriter Kylie Rae Harris died in a car accident at the age of 30 while driving in New Mexico.

She was on her way to perform at the Big Barn Dance Music Festival, where she was scheduled to take the stage.

Harris was a devoted mother to her six-year-old daughter, Corbie, and had released her latest album earlier that year, featuring a song she wrote for her child, 'Twenty Years From Now.'

Before her death, Harris had shared videos on Instagram Stories, reminiscing about family trips to the area and getting emotional on camera.

Her publicist confirmed the news in a statement to Billboard, saying, 'We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night. We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time.'

Our thoughts are with Kylie's family and friends.
