Comedian and radio personality Rapcha the Sayantist has built a reputation for his sharp social commentary, often delivered without relying on slapstick humor or tribal jokes.

However, his wit has not always been well-received, as evidenced by a harrowing encounter he shared on Twitter with MacDonald Mariga, a former Kenyan footballer who played in the UEFA Champions League.

According to Rapcha, the comedian made a joke about Mariga's reputation on stage, suggesting that he would go to great lengths to maintain his 'good boy' image.

But Mariga did not take the joke lightly, and Rapcha soon found himself facing intimidation after receiving a threatening phone call from Italy.

As Rapcha recounted on Twitter, 'The only thing I know about McDonald Mariga is he can't take a joke … We made a joke about him with @Mwafreeka on TV.. I was called from Italy and told serious things will be done to my “behind” by countless thugs.. hio siku nililala ngara kwa beste.'

Mariga's reputation for being fiercely protective of his image is well-known, and this incident only serves to reinforce that perception.
