Published on September 5, 2019, Jamaican dancehall star Konshens, whose real name is Garlfield Spence, has arrived in Nairobi ahead of the highly anticipated Hype Fest Concert.
The 'Bruk Off' singer landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Wednesday at 11:35pm, marking his second visit to Kenya.
Organized by The Hype Group Ltd in collaboration with NTV, the official media sponsor, the concert will take place at the Ngong Race Course this Saturday.
Local acts, including Ethic and The Kansoul, will curtain-raise the event, which promises to be an exciting experience for music lovers in Nairobi.
Interestingly, Konshens' visit comes at a time when he is going through a divorce from his estranged wife, Latoya Wright.
Latoya announced their break-up on Instagram six days ago, stating that she is now a single woman and that Konshens' actions have nothing to do with her.
Although the two were married in a private ceremony in Miami in November 2017, their union lasted only two years, with the couple having a son together.
