Manchester United Confirm 25-Man Squad for 2019/20 Premier League Season ¶
Manchester United have announced their 25-man squad for the 2019/20 Premier League season, following the closure of the European transfer window on September 2, 2019.
The squad includes record-signing Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Daniel James, who have all been included in the 25-man squad after forming part of United's starting line-up in the four matches of the new season.
According to Premier League rules, the squad cannot include more than 17 non-homegrown players, and eight members of the squad must be developed in England.
Youngsters Mason Greenwood, Fosu-Mensah, and James Garner have not been included in the squad as any player under the age of 21 does not need to be named in the squad since they can line up at any point.
The 25-man squad includes:
- Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant
- Defenders: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Marcos Rojoe, Demetri Mitchell, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young
- Midfielders: Andreas Pereira, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Juan Mata, Paul Pogba, Fred
- Forwards: Dan James, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford
