On 30 August 2019, Standard Chartered Bank of Kenya announced the resignation of two Executive Directors, Tejinder Singh and David Idoru.

According to the bank, Mr. Tejinder Singh, who was the head of global banking Kenya responsible for the corporate and institutional business in Kenya, has resigned to take on his appointment as regional head, Global Subsidiaries, Africa.

Mr. David Idoru, who was the regional head, retail banking Kenya and East Africa, has also resigned to take on his regional role as the Regional Head, Retail Banking – Nigeria and West Africa.
