The index estimates City have a 61% chance of winning the title, while Liverpool's prospects stand at 39%. A victory for City would raise their title retention chances to 86%, whereas an away win for Liverpool would improve their chances to 68%.
A draw would favor City, giving them a 63% title probability compared to Liverpool's 37%. Liverpool's current attack is their most prolific since 2013/14, scoring 77 goals compared to City's 70. This marks the first time since Pep Guardiola's 2016-17 campaign that Liverpool outpaces City in goal tally.
Liverpool's offensive efficiency has improved, with 557 shots on goal this season—the highest under Juergen Klopp since 2015. The team's shot-to-goal ratio has doubled with Virgil van Dijk in the lineup, reducing opponents' average shots per goal to 12 from 6.7 when he was injured in 2015.
