On a busy weekend tour of Western Kenya and North Rift regions, Nation Media Group Football Club will take on Kakamega County Government, the reigning Kenya Inter-Counties Sports and Cultural Association (Kicosca) football champions, in a friendly match at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on Friday, September 6, 2019.

According to team captain Allan Munga, the match will be a strong test of the team's physical and mental strength, as they will be playing three matches in two days across three counties, including two matches in one day in two counties.

‘Playing three matches in two days across three counties — including two matches in one day in two counties — will be the strongest test yet of our physical and mental strength,’ Munga said.

On Saturday, September 7, 2019, Nation FC will face Iten's Patuso FC at the Iten Sports Ground, following a match against the Uasin Gishu County Assembly at the Eldoret Sports Club on Friday evening.

Since its inception, Nation FC has toured several counties, including Mombasa, Kisii, Nyamira, Nakuru, Kiambu, and Laikipia, with the aim of eventually touring all 47 counties.
