Published on September 4, 2019, Tottenham has confirmed their 25-man squad for the 2019/20 Champions League, with Victor Wanyama included despite being linked with a summer exit.
Wanyama, a 28-year-old Kenyan midfielder, was widely expected to leave the club after falling down the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino.
However, the midfielder has been handed a lifeline by Spurs, who are keen to keep him at the club and fight for a starting place.
The 25-man squad also includes new signings Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, and Ryan Sessegnon, as well as Serge Aurier and Christian Eriksen, who were also linked with exits.
