Kenyan gospel artist Willy Paul has been accused of assault by his ex-girlfriend Susan Mwaniki, who claims he caused her serious injuries in May this year.
According to Susan, the fight occurred at Willy Paul's Syokimau house, where he allegedly strangled, threatened her with a knife, and threatened to shoot her.
She also claimed that Willy Paul boiled water in a sufuria and threatened to scald her with it.
Susan shared screenshots of her injuries with Mpasho, a Kenyan online publication, and revealed that she had been in a relationship with Willy Paul for over a year.
She alleged that Willy Paul was violent, disrespectful, and foolish, and that he had even threatened to kill her on several occasions.
Despite her claims, Willy Paul refused to offer any financial assistance to Susan, who was undergoing a scan after the assault.
Willy Paul's side of the story remains unreported, as numerous calls to him went unanswered.
